Born in 1983 in Saint Louis, MO, USA, David grew up American but lived nearly half his life in his second home – the Netherlands. He attended the University of Missouri – Columbia where he studied French and Sociology, after which he attended Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and Leiden University. David has a B.Ed. in English Education, an M.A. in Literary Studies, and and M.A. in Humanities Education.
Currently, David is a teacher of English Literature and Culture at the School of Education at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. He has published two textbooks – one in collaboration with other writers, and one he wrote alone.
